“This is about people who show up for others every single day,” said Rowe. “They’re not influencers or celebrities, but they’re changing lives—and the country deserves to meet them.”

From a New York plumber teaching young girls the trades, to a blacksmith in Virginia helping fellow veterans heal through the forge, “People You Should Know” brings human goodness to the forefront—offering viewers not just inspiration, but a sense of purpose and possibility. The premiere season also features a foster care advocate in Los Angeles, a bike-repair charity in Orlando, a Baltimore librarian reinventing literacy access in book deserts, and a workforce program for autistic young adults in Denver.

Building on the viral success of “Returning the Favor,” Rowe’s newest series invites viewers to laugh, cry, and act. With surprise reveals, community collaboration, and real-world impact, “People You Should Know” reminds audiences what’s possible when we show up for one another.
