“Snowmen” Raises Funds for Charity

LOS ANGELES (Dec. 28, 2011)–Movie to Movement’s parent organization, H.E.R.O. will offer the SNOWMEN DVD to anyone who makes a charitable donation to the work of the relief organization, which mobilizes whole-life multi-platform campaigns, dedicated to defending the dignity of the human person.  The mission of the H.E.R.O. Movie to Movement is also helping several other organizations including Focus on the Family’s Citizen Link to use SNOWMEN as a way to raise funds for their own cause this holiday season.  As an affiliate of Focus on the Family, CitizenLink is a family advocacy organization that inspires men and women to live out biblical citizenship that transforms culture.   They help citizens understand and passionately engage in policy issues relevant to families from a foundation firmly established in a biblical worldview, encouraging participation in the democratic process in order to forge a better future for our children and our culture.  SNOWMEN is the perfect fundraising tool, through its positive message, impactful lessons of charitable living and promotion of strong family values.

A highly acclaimed heart-warming family comedy, SNOWMEN will be released to DVD nationwide on November 29, 2011. The film is sure to be a holiday favorite with stars like Bobby Coleman (The Last Song, Martian Child), Ray Liotta (Wild Hogs), Bobb’e J. Thompson (Role Models), Josh Flitter (Ace Ventura Jr.) and Christopher Lloyd (Back to the Future 1-3, Who Framed Roger Rabbit).

Through its recent limited engagement “Family Movie Event of the Year” theatrical release, SNOWMEN won the Audience Award at the 2011 Dallas International Film Festival, was named Best Feature Film at the 2011 SPROCKETS Toronto International Film Festival for Children and Youth, won the Heartland Film Festival’s Truly Moving Picture Award, was awarded the First Runner -Up Audience Award at the Tribeca Film Festival and continues to build a lasting legacy with the current  DVD release.

The Human Rights Education & Relief Organization (H.E.R.O. ) is a whole-life multi-platform campaign, dedicated to defending the dignity of the human person while working towards a culture of life, love, and beauty.
