(RALEIGH, North Carolina) — MoviesAndMore.tv, an internet streaming video channel headquartered in Fayetteville, North Carolina, has acquired fifteen first-run feature-length films from Los Angeles-based MarVista Entertainment Group. Mike Davis, Content Consultant for MoviesAndMore.tv, brokered the deal with films slated to commence broadcasting in August 2013.
An advertising-driven site created to deliver free and first-rate film entertainment, MoviesAndMore.tv allows viewers to instantly connect to films in progress, uncut and unedited, across favorite genres of action, comedy, crime, drama, horror, romance, sci-fi and westerns.
The MoviesAndMore.tv film library encompasses a well-balanced mix of classics as well as first-run and independent productions.
According to web strategist Ross Lasley, who developed the website in conjunction with North Carolina businessman Mike Doares, “We built MoviesAndMore.tv from the ground up to make the content more important than the technology. Our exclusive player design invites viewers to simply tune in and watch movies anywhere over a full range of internet devices, including desktops, laptops, smartphones and tablets, without the time-consuming frustrations involved in entering most movie sites.”
“At MoviesAndMore.tv,” continues Lasley, “we realize the future of online film entertainment can be found by examining the way people have consumed TV for decades. They want to simply turn it on and be presented with programming. Tune in and watch, so to speak.”
In addition to the new MarVista acquisitions, MoviesAndMore.tv also works with PureFlix Entertainment, Artists View Entertainment and Jones & Barry Distribution.
