THE SHIFT – This Year’s Unexpected Christmas Film – Holds Top 10 Position For Second Weekend In Theaters
(PROVO, Utah — December 11, 2023) THE SHIFT, the debut original theatrical release from Angel Studios, the studio behind the summer blockbuster SOUND OF FREEDOM, continues a strong run at the box office and remains in the Top 10 for its second weekend in theaters.

With a plot referred to by Rebecca Cusey from Christianity Today** as “THE MATRIX meets IT’S A WONDERFUL LIFE,” THE SHIFT is an independent sci-fi romance inspired by the book of Job. The film shares the story of Kevin, a man who travels across worlds to reunite with the love of his life, Molly. When a mysterious adversary known as The Benefactor threatens Kevin’s survival and sends him to a dystopian reality, he fights to return to the world he knows and the woman he loves. Will hope and faith be enough to find his way back?
