GHOSTBUSTERS: RISE OF THE GHOST LORD IS AVAILABLE NOW ON PLAYSTATION VR2 AND META QUEST HEADSETS
New Meta Quest Launch Trailer and PlayStation Access ‘Let’s Play’ Showcases Busting Ghosts with Friends in VR Cooperative Multiplayer
CULVER CITY, Calif. (Oct. 26, 2023) – Today, Sony Pictures Virtual Reality (SPVR) and award-winning VR developer, nDreams, have announced that the highly anticipated VR game, Ghostbusters: Rise of the Ghost Lord, is available now on PlayStation VR2, Meta Quest 2, Quest 3 and Quest Pro. Players can now suit up and step foot into the iconic universe everyone knows and loves in its newest adventure set in San Francisco. Players on the Meta Quest platform can also access Mini-Puft Mayhem, the minigame showcasing Quest 3’s mixed-reality capabilities.

Players who pre-ordered the Full Containment Edition prior to launch can now equip their exclusive ‘Gold Rush’ proton pack skin in-game at the San Francisco HQ workbench. New recruits to the Ghostbusters universe can expect six months of free and paid downloadable content, with the first of many character skins, ‘Alice Aces,’ available for purchase today on all platforms.
Ghostbusters: Rise of the Ghost Lord is available now on the PlayStation Store and Meta Quest Store for $34.99 USD. The Full Containment Edition, which bundles six months of post-launch DLC, is available for $54.99 USD on the PlayStation Store and Meta Quest Store.
For those who have purchased the base game, six months of post-launch DLC can still be purchased separately with the Full Containment Edition Upgrade on PlayStation Store and Meta Quest Store for $19.99 USD. Individual DLC will become available on both stores for a la carte purchase as new content is released. Stay tuned for news about additional game modes coming to all players for free!
