“Just Let Go” tells the inspirational true story of Chris Williams and his remarkable act of forgiveness after a drunk driver kills his wife and three children. The moving drama depicts how a person can forgive despite the retaliatory tendencies that surface within the darks corners of the human heart and shows how hope, love and forgiveness can overcome all when you just let go. Based on the autobiographical book by Chris Williams, Let It Go: A True Story of Tragedy and Forgiveness, the feature stars Emmy nominee Henry Ian Cusick (“Lost,” “Scandal,” “The 100”), Oscar-nominee Brenda Vaccaro (“Once Is Not Enough”) and Sam Sorbo (“Hercules: The Legendary Journeys”).
“A movie like this, ‘Just Let Go,’ reminds you how powerful storytelling can be, in touching your heart and reminding you of the importance of forgiveness, and how it can set you free,” said Delilah.
“In some way, we can all relate to Chris’ story,” said Fathom Events CEO John Rubey. “Fathom is honored to share such a powerful message of forgiveness with our audiences via a great story, moving discussion and first-rate performance by Lincoln Brewster.”
A portion of the proceeds from this event will be donated to the Human Journey, web platform for the “Tutu Global Forgiveness Challenge” which empowers people to forgive.
