One night of celebration changes two lives forever in the bilingual comedy, Pulling Strings, arriving on DVD (plus Digital Ultraviolet), Digital HD, Video on Demand and Pay-Per-View February 25th from Lionsgate Home Entertainment. Mexican heartthrob Jaime Camil (TV’s “Por Ella Soy Eva”) and fan favorite Omar Chaparro (Suave Patria) star as musicians who pull out all the stops to win over a headstrong embassy worker and gain a U.S. visa. Featuring plenty of laughs and enchanting mariachi performances, the Pulling Strings DVD will be available for the suggested retail price of $19.98.

Alejandro and his loyal best friend Canicas are hardworking mariachi singers looking for fame in Mexico City. More than just a mariachi, Alejandro has a second full time job – he’s a single dad.  When Alejandro tries to secure a visa for his young daughter to visit her grandparents in the U.S., his request is flatly denied by an embassy worker, Rachel.  Later that evening, Alejandro and Canicas run into Rachel while playing a gig. Alejandro seizes the coincidental encounter as a chance to change her mind, and with Canicas by his side, they whisk her into an unforgettable adventure.
