Official Film Trailer Released
For Upcoming Sex Trafficking Documentary
Executive Produced by Natalie Grant
Benefitting the Work of Abolition International
Nashville, TN – February 19, 2014 – Executive Produced and Narrated by Natalie Grant, the official film trailer for In Plain Sight: Stories of Hope and Freedom has been released at www.storiesoffreedom.com in preparation for the launch of a three-part campaign to help stop sex trafficking in the United States.
Benefitting the work of Abolition International, the campaign centers around three resources including a documentary film, compilation hymns album, and a 31 day devotional / group study guide – all three to be released into stores and online by Word Entertainment on October 4th, 2014.
By interviewing abolitionists, survivors, and law enforcement, the film crew has captured inspiring stories of hope emerging from aftercare homes in six cities – including Nashville, Baltimore, Sacramento, Little Rock, Houston, and Dallas.
“While other documentaries have done a good job educating the public on this issue, we want to share stories of hope and freedom that are emerging from the darkness,” said David Trotter, co-executive producer. “We don’t want you to walk away depressed and unmotivated. We want you to be inspired to take action based on the hope you’ve experienced.”
Having raised $45,000 in 2013, the production is in need of an additional $40,000 to complete the film and launch the campaign. Tax-deductible donations are being accepted via Indiegogo – a crowd funding website similar to Kickstarter.
