Official Trailer for ‘STILL HOPE’ Shows Complex Journey of Hope and Healing After Sex Trafficking
Feature film based on true stories of individuals to release from Fathom Entertainment nationwide on February 5, 2026
FRANKLIN, Tennessee and DENVER, Colorado (Oct. 29, 2025) – STILL HOPE, a feature film set to release February 5–9, 2026, in theatres nationwide with Fathom Entertainment in partnership with Pixels of Hope Studios and Studio 523, today released its official trailer.
Based on true stories of courageous women who have walked the complex journey toward finding redemption, healing and forgiveness after sex trafficking, STILL HOPE honors their diverse experiences while highlighting the faith-based recovery organizations walking alongside to support them. Filmmakers worked alongside Pure Hope Foundation, a nonprofit organization mobilizing action against the sex trafficking industry, to ensure the accuracy of the real-life stories behind the film.
“Physical healing is only the beginning when sex trafficking ends,” said Kathrine Lee, co-founder and CEO of Pure Hope Foundation. “The emotional and spiritual scars can run deep. Every individual has a unique experience and voice, and it is important to share their stories. STILL HOPE is a beautiful reminder of what it looks like for many of these individuals to move from darkness to redemption.”
Beloved by her family and raised in a quiet community, 16-year-old Hope finds herself in danger when a new friend is not who he claims to be… Ripped from all she knows and forced into sex trafficking, Hope is stripped of her identity and threatened into submission, surviving years of abuse. Hope finally finds freedom and reunites with the family that never gave up looking for her. Though now safe, she struggles adjusting to her old life as she reconciles with all she’s endured. Hope’s journey is inspired by true stories and powerfully illustrates the courage it takes to find healing after life’s darkest moments.
Statistics show that young people in the U.S. are exploited through the trafficking industry across every state and territory regardless of age, ethnicity and gender. The National Human Trafficking Hotline received 9,619 reports of potential human trafficking cases involving an estimated 16,999 victims in 2023 alone.
“We set out to convey two main themes through STILL HOPE,” Richie Johns, director and producer with Studio 523. “We wanted to remind audiences that healing is a process, not an event. It takes time and sometimes we’re left to sit in the uncomfortable and that’s ok. Second, we wanted to show the restorative power of forgiveness. The whole idea of forgiveness is radical, but it’s at the heart of the gospel and that’s the story we wanted to tell.”
STILL HOPE strategically releases following Human Trafficking Awareness Month in January and is more than a film; it’s a call to action to stand shoulder to shoulder with these warriors and support advocates in the fight against trafficking.
“I hope this film serves as a reminder that there is light in the darkness, true freedom in forgiveness and that there’s always hope,” said Natalie Grant, co-founder of Hope for Justice, nine-time GRAMMY® nominee and supporter of STILL HOPE. “These advocates—who offer comprehensive, long-term care—are well-equipped to honor, lift up and guide those who are ready to receive support. I encourage you to join in this important and courageous work of healing. We need your help.”
Tickets for STILL HOPE will be available on December 12, 2025, at Fathom Entertainment and participating theatre box offices (theatre locations are subject to change).
