Angel Continues a Commitment to Drive Audiences of All Ages to Experience Films in Theaters
 

 
(PROVO, Utah — April 2, 2025) Today, Angel, the film & TV platform curated by over one million members of the Angel Guild, presented its upcoming theatrical slate at the CinemaCon Wednesday morning session. The presentation focused on celebrating exhibition partners who have supported Angel’s eleven theatrical releases, which has enabled the studio to experience remarkable growth, topping $360M in box office in just two years.

TIFF-favorite SKETCH has been signed to the Angel system for an August 6 release, historical biopic TRUTH & TREASON, and epic thriller ZERO A.D. are announcing title changes and release dates. 
 
Purdie continues, “This week at CinemaCon reaffirms the strength and influence of the Angel Guild—more than one million members dedicated to shaping the future of entertainment and ensuring that stories that amplify light shine where they belong—on the biggest screens, in front of the biggest audiences, the way they were meant to be experienced.”

THE KING OF KINGS – In theaters April 11, 2025

THE KING OF KINGS stars Kenneth Branaugh, Uma Thurman, Pierce Brosnan, Mark Hamill, Roman Griffith Davis, Forrest Whitaker, Ben Kingsley and Oscar Isaac.

TRUTH & TREASON – In theaters October 17, 2025
Helmuth Hüebener, a 16-year-old boy, forms a resistance group with his friends Karl and Rudi after witnessing the arrest of his Jewish friends by Nazis. Their brave actions lead them to face trial in Nazi Germany.
 
Originally announced as the episodic series Truth & Conviction, TRUTH & TREASON stars Rupert Evans, Ewan Horrocks, Ferdinand McKay, Daf Thomas, and Sean Mahon, and directed by Matt Whitaker and written by Whitaker and Ethan Vincent.
