A teenage undercover agent discovers graduating from high school may be a bigger challenge than being an international spy in the action comedy Barely Lethal, arriving on Blu-ray™ (plus Digital HD) and DVD (plus Digital) August 4th from Lionsgate Home Entertainment. Released theatrically by A24, director Kyle Newman’s (Fanboys) film shakes up the teen spy genre with an all-star cast that kicks butt while making the audience laugh out loud. Starring Academy Award® nominee Hailee Steinfeld (Best Supporting Actress, True Grit, 2010), Jessica Alba (Sin City franchise), Sophie Turner (HBO’s “Game of Thrones”) and Dove Cameron (TV’s “Liv and Maddie”), the Barely Lethal Blu-ray and DVDfeature an audio commentary, deleted scenes and a behind-the-scenes featurette. A teenage special-ops agent (Steinfeld) yearning for a “normal” adolescence fakes her own death and enrolls as a student in a typical American high school. She quickly learns that surviving the treacherous waters of being a teenager can be more difficult than international espionage.
