2013 GREATER LEHIGH VALLEY FILMMAKER FESTIVAL SCHEDULE ANNOUNCED
Frank Banko Alehouse Cinemas at SteelStacks to host 3rd-annual event Oct. 31-Nov. 2
Bethlehem, PA—Dynamic filmmakers from throughout the region will be spotlighted during the third-annual Greater Lehigh Valley Filmmaker Festival (GLVFF) Oct. 31-Nov. 2 at the ArtsQuest Center at SteelStacks’ Frank Banko Alehouse Cinemas. Fifteen different films and two web series will be showcased over the course of five screening blocks. Admission for each block is $5 for the public and $4 for ArtsQuest Members. Tickets are on sale now at www.artsquest.org/film and 610-332-3378; they’ll also be available at the ArtsQuest Center Box Office.
The 2013 GLVFF will culminate Nov. 2 with a free screening of Allentown-raised director and 2013 GLVFF jury member Ishai Setton’s 3 Days of Normal at 8:45 p.m. The screening will be followed by a Q&A with Setton and the announcement of the 2013 GLVFF award winners. Awards will be handed out in the following categories: Best Feature, Best Documentary, Best Web Series, Best Short (15-50 minutes) and Best Short (<15 minutes).

Jury members for this year’s GLVFF include local filmmaker and 2011 GLVFF award winner Courtney Eady, Allentown-raised and Los Angeles-based director Ishai Setton (The Kitchen), Southside Film Festival board member Ann Knerr, Lehigh University professor Michael Kramp and ArtsQuest Cinema Committee member Catherine Ford.
