JUSTICE FILM FESTIVAL Travels to Los Angeles

for Second Annual Event

On February 23, Films with Messages of Justice will be Showcased in Unique Setting

following The Justice Conference.

Franklin, TN – Following a successful debut earlier this year, the JUSTICE FILM FESTIVAL is proud to announce their second annual event will held February 23, 2014, following The Justice Conference. The day-long gathering will take place at Los Angeles’s Downtown Independent Theater to showcase and celebrate high-quality films with prevailing messages of justice.  The Justice Film Festival seeks to promote compelling storytelling while being a platform for conversation and action among justice-minded filmgoers.

At the event, awards will be presented to outstanding films that exhibit excellence in the following categories:  Best Feature Film, Best Short Film, Best Documentary Film and Best Justice Film.  These awards will be determined by an all-star roster of judges from a variety of backgrounds and professions.  Judges to be announced in the coming weeks.

“We believe that telling peoples’ stories through art and film can shape global culture for the better,” says festival Director Andy Peterson on why the film festival has been a natural addition to The Justice Conference as a whole.  “We believe stories told by pioneering filmmakers need a home.  We are proud to have created the premiere destination to experience these films and are honored to highlight such artistic talent.”

Produced by Nashville-based independent film marketing agency Propeller, the selected collection of films will present new perspectives on well-known topics while revealing untold stories of unexpected courage and redemption through the medium of documentaries, feature films, and shorts. The Justice Film Festival team will hand pick the 2014 selection of films, providing content that is diverse in both subject and geography. Past issues highlighted in these films include human trafficking, slavery, poverty, HIV/AIDS, and human rights.
